Masterbih Pop-Up Base Mix 250g

The Masterbih Pop-Up Base Mix has been developed for anglers who want to create professional-quality floating Pop-Up boilies with full control over their own recipes. Based on carefully selected milk proteins, this premium formula produces hookbaits with excellent buoyancy, consistent structure and reliable attraction release.

The neutral formulation allows complete customisation by adding your preferred flavours, sweeteners, amino complexes, hydrolysates, extracts, oils or colourings. A wide selection of bait Flavours makes it easy to create unique attraction profiles, while our range of Liquid Additives allows further adjustment of the bait’s nutritional and attraction properties for different fishing situations.

After rolling, boiling and drying, the finished Pop-Ups provide outstanding durability and long-lasting buoyancy. The balanced structure allows the bait to maintain its presentation while gradually releasing attractors into the water, creating a continuous signal around the hookbait.

Unlike many floating mixes, the Masterbih Pop-Up Base Mix requires no microwave curing or special equipment. It is prepared in the same way as a traditional boilie mix, making it simple to produce high-quality Pop-Up hookbaits for modern carp fishing approaches including Chod Rigs, Ronnie Rigs and Snowman presentations.

Mixing Instructions

1. Crack one medium-sized egg into a clean mixing bowl.
2. Add your chosen liquid ingredients such as flavour, sweetener, amino complex, hydrolysate, oil or colouring and mix thoroughly.
3. Slowly add the Masterbih Pop-Up Base Mix while mixing until you achieve a smooth, rollable paste. The paste should remain soft and workable without excessive sticking or cracking.
4. Shape the boilies by hand or with a boilie rolling table.
5. Cook the finished baits in continuously boiling water.

Recommended boiling times:

• 10 mm: approx. 2–3 minutes
• 16 mm: approx. 3–4 minutes

6. Allow the finished Pop-Ups to dry for a minimum of 48 hours in a warm, dry and well-ventilated area.

Additional Tips

• Store unused mix in the original sealed packaging in a dry place.
• For increased shelf life without preservatives, extend the drying period to 3–5 days.
• Keep the water at a constant rolling boil during cooking.
• Producing smaller batches is recommended to prevent sudden temperature drops.
• The mix can also be combined with standard base mixes and powdered ingredients to create balanced wafters.
• One medium-sized egg produces approximately 120–150 pieces of 10 mm boilies.
